Deus sniper
Editorial Review from KADOKAWA
With its energetic linework, dynamic panel composition, and exceptional sense of pacing that builds anticipation with every page turn, this work already feels close to a professional level.
The creator’s unique sense of humor also shines through, and despite tackling heavy themes such as “assassins” and “the value of life,” the overall reading experience remains surprisingly light and enjoyable, leaving a refreshing impression after finishing.
While there is still room for growth in areas such as character creation and dialogue, I strongly felt that the creator already possesses the talent and skill needed to aim for a professional debut right away.

START AT NULL
Editorial Review from KADOKAWA
From the very first pages, I was captivated by the cyberpunk world the creator had built.
The backgrounds are outstanding, and the consistently strong artwork creates a convincing sense of realism while still capturing the kind of wonder and excitement that sparks the reader’s imagination.
The protagonist is immediately charming and full of personality at the beginning, while the shadows they carry inside are gradually revealed in the latter half, making them even more compelling.
There are many striking compositions throughout the work, but the scenes of the protagonist racing through the crowded, chaotic cityscape were especially memorable. They seemed to symbolize both freedom and loneliness at once, while also laying the groundwork for the emotional catharsis of the ending.
This work made me feel the potential of a creator who could one day inspire genuine excitement and passion across the world.

Cells Within the Body.
Editorial Review from KADOKAWA
Beginning with exquisitely detailed artwork, the story seems at first to depict the quiet daily life of a gentle tailor—until suddenly, a gap opens in the sky and a mysterious liquid comes pouring down… In just six opening pages, the manga completely grabs hold of the reader with its shocking turn of events!
What impressed us most was not only the bold creativity behind its attempt to create visuals unlike anything anyone has seen before, but also the creator’s remarkable storytelling ability: the ideas are not merely provocative concepts, but are brought to a satisfying and carefully constructed conclusion.
This work powerfully reaffirmed for us that manga’s true strength lies not in dialogue, but in its ability to communicate through images. It was a perfect embodiment of the kind of talent that a “wordless” manga contest can bring to light.

BOW
Editorial Review from KADOKAWA
The performance scenes and the characters’ changing expressions were incredibly rich, leaving a strong impression with the work’s high level of artistic skill and visual direction.
Even without dialogue, the emotions came through clearly, and we especially enjoyed the impact of the large panels and the way the story shifted from moments of stillness to dynamic movement.
If the relationships between the characters and the human drama were explored further, it would become even easier for readers to emotionally connect with the story, which would further enhance the appeal of the work.

Hitokuji
Editorial Review from KADOKAWA
Above all, the whale transformed into a human was portrayed in an extremely charming way, and the expressions and gestures while eating the sandwich were especially adorable and heartwarming.
The protagonist was also depicted effectively through subtle details that naturally conveyed his personality, lifestyle, and emotional changes, making the characters themselves the greatest strength of the work.
On the other hand, compared to the strong presentation at the beginning, the latter half relied heavily on close-ups of the characters’ faces and at times felt somewhat repetitive.
We encourage you to experiment with more detailed backgrounds and a wider variety of expressions and compositions in order to create a more multidimensional presentation.

Editorial Review from KADOKAWA
After a mesmerizing opening illustration framed by skulls and sheep, the story suddenly shifts as a cheerful protagonist makes his appearance. At first, it seems like a classic coming-of-age tale—but as unsettling whispers gradually begin to surface, I realized this would not be a straightforward story, and found myself sitting up in anticipation.
With the arrival of the beautiful and enigmatic Yagaya, the gears of the narrative begin to turn dramatically.
The constantly shifting, unpredictable developments kept me thoroughly captivated and delightfully unsettled as a reader from beginning to end.
With its overwhelming uniqueness and its universal appeal that transcends borders, this work achieves a remarkable balance between the two. It is with genuine happiness that we award it the Gold Prize.
