KADOKAWA is looking for manga
creators
from all over the world
to create works together.
The KADOKAWA WORLD MANGA EDITORIAL TEAM will participate
in the convention events to review portfolios for those interested.
Would you please show us your portfolio?
Submitting creators whose works are highly evaluated will be assigned an editor,
and together you will aim for publication or serialization of the
work.
Slots are limited, so please apply as early as possible.

- Terms and
Conditions of
Application -
● Please select your preferred date and time to apply. After you apply, we will contact you from "ib-worldmanga@ml.kadokawa.jp" at the email address you registered. If a slot is available at your requested time, we will provide you with the meeting details. Please be aware that if no slots are available, we may suggest an alternative time or may not be able to accommodate your request.
● Supported Languages: Please note that the This project will be conducted only in English or Japanese.
● Eligibility: There are no restrictions on applicants. We welcome everyone regardless of experience, age, or nationality, including both professionals and amateurs. However, minors must obtain parental or guardian consent before applying.
● On the Day of the Review: You must bring your portfolio materials with you even if you submit in advance online. These can be physical copies or digital data on a tablet or laptop. We do not accept text-only portfolios; please ensure you bring a manga portfolio that includes your own illustrations.
● AI Policy: Works generated by AI, or works using AI-generated materials/images, are not accepted.

Submission -
● If you have already made your portfolio, you may submit your portfolio in advance.
● Portfolios can be in any format—manuscripts or storyboards, black and white or color, digital or hand-drawn.
● All content must be in English or Japanese.
● Please refrain from submitting works that infringe on third-party rights, derivative works.
● We do not accept text-only submissions, such as novels or scripts.
● Submitted data cannot be returned. Please ensure you keep a backup.
● Max File Size: Uploads exceeding 100MB are not permitted.

● Minors must have a guardian read these guidelines and obtain their consent before applying.
● Only one entry per person is permitted.
● Any communication costs incurred during application are the responsibility of the applicant.
● The contest may be suspended or terminated without notice due to system issues or other unavoidable circumstances.
● KADOKAWA shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the applicant, except in cases of gross negligence by the company.
